Your smartphone is starting to slow down? Here’s a few solutions

Two of the most interesting Android phones, the LG G6 and Galaxy S8 have just recently become available in the markets. Two devices that offer great features, and that many users will surely enjoy. One thing that might spoil this experience is a phone that suddenly starts “acting weird”. All electronic devices will probably face some problems eventually, from low-end devices to high-end flagship ones.  In this post, I will be focusing on simple solutions you can try when your phone starts to lag, slow down, or seem to use more battery. Of course, the below solutions are NOT restricted to the two brands mentioned earlier.

Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus vs. S7 and S7 Edge – is it worth the upgrade?

Looking back at 2016, the S7 Edge was hands down one of the best smartphones, with one of the best designs, which it still is to this date. Things have greatly changed with the launch of the S8 and S8 Plus now. With the introduction of the two new devices, Samsung officially came back swinging after their Note 7 demise, with what might be the best design for 2017. So is this new phone good enough to have users upgrade from 2016’s S7 or S7Edge? Samsung’s Secure Folder App

Samsung has just released the Nougat update for S7 edge devices in Lebanon. Now, I’m not new to the update as I didn’t want to wait for the OTA update to arrive, and so I went ahead and flashed my S7 Edge with the UK version of the firmware (I don’t recommend it unless you know all the risks of flashing a firmware). An app that just made available on the S7 and S7 Edge is Samsung’s Secure Folder App (downloaded from the Galaxy App Store). Continue reading “Samsung’s Secure Folder App”

S7 Edge Review

galaxy-s7_overview_water_l

I’ve wanted to post this review since March but rather chose to wait until I have used the phone for some time. The S7 or S7 edge’s design is not new to Samsung. Samsung completely changed the design of its Galaxy S series back in April 2015, when they introduced the S6 and S6 edge. These two phones were two of the most beautiful and well-designed phones of the year. They were the first phones (by Samsung) that actually gave their users a premium build feel. Last year, when I first got my S6, I was a bit confused if I should go ahead and buy the S6 edge, or just stick to the S6. The S6 edge was Samsung’s first phone featuring dual edge display, and that actually gave the phone its unique beautiful design. I wasn’t really sure how much use I would have for the edge display, and so I went for the regular S6. This year it was time for me to adopt the new edge technology and give it a chance. This is my review of the new S7 edge, its pros, and cons.
