Source: Nokia

At last, the Nokia 8 is here, and it comes with a great specs sheet. Just like other Nokia phones, the Nokia 8 is also manufactured by HMD Global. The new Nokia smartphone is the first actual Nokia Flagship running Android, that comes with an impressive specs sheet.  Given that the Galaxy S8+ just won the EISA best smartphone award, let us have a look and compare both phones’ specs sheets.

Galaxy Tab S3 review: Much better than I expected!

I ordered the Galaxy Tab S3 the moment it became available back in May but couldn’t really get around to writing this review, up until now. Before purchasing the tablet I knew exactly what I was buying, I didn’t really expect much out of this device. It comes with a stunning screen, so it was perfect for my media consumption, and an S-Pen, which really got me excited as I was looking for a stylus for note taking. After using the device for the past 2 months, it is safe to say that the Tab S3 has exceeded my expectations.

The first wireless charging laptop is here

Source: Dell

By now, many people own devices that support wireless charging but don’t actually use it. To me, wireless charging provides the convenience of having a “tidy” desk space, with fewer cables lying around. It wasn’t long before wireless charging is used on more devices. And now… here it is! The first wireless charging laptop, made by dell.  Continue reading “The first wireless charging laptop is here”

OnePlus 5: Specifications and features

It’s been a while since I wanted to post this short review, but unfortunately, I couldn’t anytime sooner. OnePlus certainly had me excited about the OnePlus 5 prior to its release, and I was determined to getting the smartphone so it could be my daily driver. OnePlus has got us used to its cheap “flagship killer” with the high specs. And guess what… The company reaffirms its standing position in the market; that its newest smartphone is indeed a “flagship killer” (specs wise), but is it really? Or are there some disappointments? Xiaomi Yi 2 4k Camera

Let me start by saying that I’m absolutely in love with this little thing. I ordered the Yi 2 4K action camera a while back through AliExpress, and at last just received it. The Yi 2 is a second generation action camera by Xiaomi, that was released in 2016. Continue reading “Xiaomi Yi 2 4k Camera”

Android O’s new features

Last week, during the first day of Google IO 2017, the company announced Android’s newest version “Android O”. The actual name of the new update won’t be announced until the actual release. The update will of course first hit Google’s own Pixel and Nexus (still supported ones only) devices.

HTC U11 – Much better this time

My overall impression of the HTC U Ultra wasn’t that great and seeing the device first hand didn’t really change my opinion. HTC has just launched the HTC U11, which is greatly making up for the damages the U Ultra has caused. Continue reading “HTC U11 – Much better this time”

Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus vs. S7 and S7 Edge – is it worth the upgrade?

Looking back at 2016, the S7 Edge was hands down one of the best smartphones, with one of the best designs, which it still is to this date. Things have greatly changed with the launch of the S8 and S8 Plus now. With the introduction of the two new devices, Samsung officially came back swinging after their Note 7 demise, with what might be the best design for 2017. So is this new phone good enough to have users upgrade from 2016’s S7 or S7Edge? Here, I will list some features that give the “edge” to the new devices, as well as other features and specifications that might keep away from ever considering upgrading to the new flagship.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

If you’re really into smartphones, then you were probably on the edge of your seat waiting for the Galaxy S8 unpacked event. Samsung today unveiled their newest Galaxy S8 flagships with them “marking the new era” for smartphone design. This statement might indicate that they are “showing off”, but it is spot on. Samsung’s newest approach to smartphone design is, to say the least, stunning.

HTC U Ultra – What were they thinking?

Source: http://www.htc.com/us/smartphones/htc-u-ultra/

Many of us are looking for that elegant and dependable smartphone, and HTC has been known to manufacture such phones. This year, HTC has launched a new smartphone lineup, the U series, which contains the U-Play (midrange) and U-Ultra (high-end flagship). The company has also decided to join the competition and adopt the metal and glass design. Their new 5.7-inch flagship looks as much as elegant, as it seems capable on the specs sheet, but is that the case?
